OAK 5.3.005 released 17 Dec 2021
The latest version of OAK, version 5.3.005, released on the 17th of December 2021, is another major update to version 5.
Following our commitment to make OAK fully compatible with the new Excel Dynamic Array formulas, we are pleased to announce that today’s release is now able to recognize these new type of formulas across the entire spectrum of the OAK tools.
From the Formula Walker to the Optimize, the Reconstruct, the Prune and to all ‘Names’ associated tools, dynamic arrays are now identified and OAK will offer different options to the user. The user can choose to apply the tool to a spilling formula, to the corresponding parent formula or cancel the operation.
Our proprietary Parser is now capable of handling the new implicit intersection operator @ as well as the # suffix.
We have also removed the ‘Aggressive’ option from the Optimize, inherited from the previous version 4 , after feedback from our users.
Improvements on the Summary report, Risk analysis, were made for dealing with the @ and # operators.
We have also implemented the FIPS compliant encryption compatibility.
OAK is now using the .NET Framework version 4.8
There is a detailed version history of OAK in the online documentation.
