The help articles that introduce OAK's ability to reconstruct a calculation (here and here) involve reconstruction of a single formula. But OAK can actually reconstruct an entire calculation. For example, a calculation of profit as revenue less costs is a single calculation for these purposes...
...and can be shown in its entirety in a reconstruction report.
The rules are simple: to be acceptable to OAK's Formula | Reconstruct command, a selection must be •all or part of just one row of a spreadsheet •be left-right consistent, that is, contain formulas that are all copies of each other. As far as OAK is concerned, formulas that are not left-right consistent are not performing the same calculation. |
