TWO VERSIONS
Operis aims to make this help a valuable resource for Excel users, whether or not they are users of OAK. It is available in versions for
| • | Excel 2007/2010, which have a user interface involving a ribbon. |
| • | Excel 2003 and earlier, which uses a user interface based on menus. |
The page layout of the two help versions are identical. The only differences between them are
| • | the commands needed to invoke Excel and OAK commands (for example, Insert | Name | Define in Excel 2003 is Formula | Names | Define Names in Excel 2007/2010 |
| • | the screenshots showing what Excel and OAK will display |
| • | certain physical limits, for example that Excel 2007/2010 allow more than 256 columns in a worksheet |
| • | where necessary, mentions of the different behaviours of Excel 2007/2010 when it is in Excel 2003-compatible and full Excel 2007/2010 modes. |
